The Community Engagement & Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Bank’s commitment to being an active and engaged community partner by coordinating community outreach, nonprofit relationships, sponsorships, volunteer activities, events and other initiatives that strengthen the Bank’s presence and relationships within the community. This position serves as a key point of contact between the Bank, CRA Officer and community partners. The Community Engagement & CRA Coordinator helps identify opportunities for the Bank to make meaningful community impact while ensuring activities align with the Bank’s strategic priorities, brand and community commitment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Delivers on the Bank’s tagline of “Your Best Banking Experience – Ever!” by reinforcing the application of superior customer service through own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees.
- Coordinate the Bank’s community engagement and outreach activities in alignment with strategic priorities and community involvement objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations, community groups, chambers, schools, professional organizations and other community partners.
- Coordinate community sponsorships, donations, charitable contributions and partnership opportunities.
- Maintain a calendar of community events, sponsorships, volunteer opportunities, and other activities.
- Coordinate the Bank’s participation and employee participation in all community and CRA events.
- Support the Bank’s employee volunteers and attendees by tracking all service programs, service hours and community impacts.
- Assist with the planning and execution of employee and community engagement events.
- Assist with developing communications and content highlighting the Bank’s community involvement, volunteer activities, partnerships and sponsorship commitments.
- Work closely with Marketing to ensure community engagement activities are promoted and communicated.
- Track all activities, sponsorships, donations, volunteer hours, return on investment (ROI), and metrics to ensure alignment with the budget.
- Responsible for community impact reporting.
- Partner with CRA Officer to align with CRA goals.
- Develop a strong understanding of the communities the Bank serves and identify opportunities to strengthen the Bank’s community presence.
- Support special projects and initiatives to enhance the Bank’s reputation, employee community engagement and community relationships.
- Attend and support networking events.
- Coordinate internal communications.
- Serve as a member of the Community Engagement Committee.
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or Communications; or 2-4 YEARS of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of business, marketing, communications, project management, B2B/B2C or related field with a financial institution background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school, or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with bank clients, employees and vendors.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, marketing software, CRM systems, marketing and social media platforms.
- Strong project management and collaboration skills, able to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
- Strong reporting and data analytics.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with community partners.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
- Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, operate a computer, and telephone.
