The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Bank’s marketing strategy and initiatives by coordinating marketing activities across the organization. This position will work closing with internal business units and external vendors to ensure marketing initiatives are executed effectively, consistently, and in alignment with the Bank’s brand, business objectives and regulatory requirements. The Marketing Coordinator is highly organized, detail oriented and can manage multiple projects and deadlines while making a strong understanding of the Bank’s brand and customer experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Delivers on the Bank’s tagline of “Your Best Banking Experience – Ever!” by reinforcing the application of superior customer service through own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees.
  • Responsible for coordinating with marketing firm to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Support the development, sourcing and management of marketing materials.
  • Coordinate internal communications.
  • Oversee promotional/logo items, ordering and the marketing inventory.
  • Coordinate marketing event projects from initiation through completion, including timelines, approvals, vendor coordination, event logistics and booth/table registration.
  • Maintain marketing calendar, project schedules, and budget tracking.
  • Track marketing expenses and assist with budget review and reporting.
  • Monitor marketing campaign performance and assist in preparing reports on key metrics, engagement, leads and other effectiveness.
  • In partnership with marketing firm research marketing trends, competitor activity, customer preferences and emerging market opportunities.
  • Assist in maintaining brand standards and ensuring consistent presentation of the Bank across all marketing channels.
  • Ensure marketing materials and communication comply with applicable laws, regulations, Bank policies and Brand standards.
  • Provide support for all company events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
The position is not responsible for the supervision of any employee(s).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising or Communications; or 2-4 YEARS of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of business, marketing, communications, project management, B2B/B2C or related field with a financial institution background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school, or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with bank clients, employees and vendors.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, marketing software, CRM systems, marketing and social media platforms.
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills, able to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
  • Strong reporting and marketing data analytics.
  • Ability to stay current on marketing and communication trends.
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
  • Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, operate a computer, and telephone.
  • This position requires writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 50 pounds), driving, carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
